Rebecca Bernard, MA

Blogger, Key Influencer and Community Health Advocate Leader

Rebecca Bernard was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and came to Los Angeles at the young age of two. As a product of a multicultural family, she has always had an affinity for cultural exploration. This spurred her to obtain a B.A. from UCLA in World Arts and Cultures with a minor in French and start The Cultured Seed, a free online guide for families that recognize the importance of cultural enrichment and awareness. She also has a Master’s in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. Her specialization is in online communities, digital communication and arts journalism.  Through her writing, Rebecca aims to share the experience of people, places and cultures of the world in such a way that leaves readers with a sense of wonderment, appreciation and respect; ultimately allowing them to feel connected to others around the world through our basic humanity. She calls both Costa Rica and Los Angeles home and revels in crafting a life of adventure alongside her two children and multitude of family and friends.
