History & Impact

32 Years of Advocacy. Innovation. Impact.
Since 1994, our journey has grown from grassroots advocacy around Black infant mortality to a movement rooted in storytelling, community, leadership, and systematic change.

We have partnered with families, healthcare providers, public health leaders, researches, funders, and community organizations to improve outcomes and advance equity for Black birthing families across the life course.
